Peeps, I wonder, what's your favorite actor/characer in the Gabriel Knight series? Aside from Gabe and Grace, because I think it'd be unfair to compare them with anyone else.I think I'll have to go with Baron Friedrich Von Glower. Gabe's uncle Wolfgang comes a close second, but he appears too briefly for him to have a chance at competing. I did love his and Gerde's storyline reference in GK2.

But Friedrich's letter to Gabriel, the one that I think Grace never even gave to Gabe (she was probably afraid Gabriel would freaking fall in love with Von Glower and join him :P) just seals the deal. I rarely see a character with such depth and philosophical background and it is always a delight to see the performance by an actor that seemed to be very fitting for this role.

Let's hear it!

Mosley? Malia? But my prefference would be.....Dr John! He was enigmatic in his approach yet at the same time conspicuous in his attitude. And that intimidating voice.....'You, what are you doing here?' (At the Bayou if you dont wear the croc mask)

Mine would have to be Wolfgang. It's so sad that he killed himself so Gabriel could get the talisman...

Agreed with the first post - Baron Von Glower

And Emilio Baza!

For me, it is between Montreaux and Von Glower. Von Glower is certainly a sympathetic character, but there is something seriously deranged about Montreaux, especially his entire speech about vine and grape horticulture. I knew from the moment I saw his character that he was guilty of something.

Perhaps what makes Von Glower a more effective character was how little he aroused suspicion. He remained extremely calm regarding Gabriel snooping around the hunting club and investigating the club philosophy, sharing all the information openly without being secretive totally made me trust him, and not believe he was responsible in any way for the murders.

All in all, Montreaux is the typical evil bad guy... but Von Glower is probably the most realistic portrayal of a villain in any video game ever.

Although GK1 was the better game, Von Glower in GK2 all the way for best supporting character.

Von Glower, hands down.

I don't really have a favourite, but Lady Howard in GK3 is funny "one takes a vacation for ease, for comfort and what does one find, horrors" heh. Oh and Von Glower was a good villain in GK2.

I never thought to look up Gabriel Knight on facebook but this is pretty cool. Here's my list.

GK1: Magentia Moonbeam. Because she's so sweet and I loved all the gris gris stuff.

GK2: The guy that Barclar refers Grace to about Ludwig II. I mostly liked his hair, but everything about his scenes was really beautiful too, like the setting and such.

GK3: Baza, because he's so silent. Or Wilkes because I thought he was cute.
