OK Olympus is coming out with the E-620 in May ( see web site for info.).
When will we see the Olympus E-4 with 12.3 MP and art filters?

4 = bad number in Japan so you will likely see an E-5. I would suspect an announcement late this year. LATE this year. If the camera appears in 2009, I will be highly surprised. That being said, you can bet it will be another massive overhaul to the proline body, as the E-3 was over the E-1. Saying this.. it may take a bit before we see one. Say, Spring of next year or very early summer.

The E-620 is an excellent example of a lot of capability in a small body. And the E-30 will hold people over as the E-3 disappears, which will happen shortly. The E-30 has so much under the hood that my E-3 took a back seat and was never used unless in truly terrible inclement weather. Otherwise the E-30 performed as good as or better than the E-3 in every respect. I DID miss the viewfinder but got over myself pretty quickly on that one.

About the comming E-5 or what ever.
Will the camera be usable for Expeditions in very hard climatic Conditions very far North or South?
Not too heavy, and a good proof body?
It seems funny, but m E-330 is still working on very unusual
trips without any interruptedly. Still working, when Nikon and
Canons give up the groove for a while.-....
