Anza-Borrego Desert was not only my home for 25 years. but was also the location for such films as Beastmaster, Damnation Alley, and X-Files among others. It was also the retreat of some pretty famous folks such as Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne and Bing Crosby to name a few. We even had our own resident celebrity, the late Gale Gordon.

It's an amazing place, and great for filming due to its proximity to Hollywood as well as the diversity in landscape. Here's a link with a good look at my former home. :)
