Arctic Monkeys are pleased to announce a UK & Irish tour in November 2009. This is the band's first UK tour since December 2007, and will see the band playing tracks from their 3rd album, 'Humbug' as well as their two previous LP's.

The band shall be joined by special guests, Eagles of Death Metal. Tickets will be priced at £29.50.

There will be an exclusive pre-sale to members of the Arctic Monkeys website that will begin at 9am on Wednesday 9th September 2009.

ARCTIC MONKEYS ANNOUNCE SPECIAL LONDON SHOW

Arctic Monkeys are pleased to announce that they will be performing a special show at London's Brixton Academy on Wednesday 26th August 2009.

This will be the band's first UK show since December 2007 and their first since the release of their 3rd album, 'Humbug'.

The band shall be joined by very special guests. Tickets are priced £27.50 + booking fee.

Arctic Monkeys release new single 'Crying Lightning' on Monday 17th August 2009. The single shall be available in 3 different formats, 7", 10" and MP3 Digital Download.

'Crying Lightning' will be the first single released through Oxfam's network of charity shops in 25 years. Proceeds will go to help the charity's lifesaving work around the world.

The limited-edition 7", which features a cover of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds 'Red Right Hand', will be available in every one of Oxfam's 700 high street shops. Each single will include a download code allowing fans to get an MP3 version of the songs for free. There will also be a 10" release featuring B-sides 'Red Right Hand' and a new track 'I Haven't Got My Strange'. The 7" and 10" will be available to pre-order in the online store http://www.arcticmonkeys-store.co.uk
